Happy Endings–As we’ve said each week, this show’s new, and things are still gelling, so not everything works. (For example, we’d like Penny to stop saying “A-mah-zing”) But we really enjoyed this week’s visit from Brad’s dad, played 
by Damon Wayans, the real life dad of Damon Wayans, Jr., of course. The story revolved around the fact that Brad and his dad never say they love each other, and the ensuing physical comedy was just fun to watch. The other story saw Penny hook up with an Italian guy, primarily because she speaks fluent Italian when she’s drunk. The bummer was that she doesn’t even follow it remotely when sober, and the poor guy was abused by his drunk father, so her consumption of an entire bottle of vodka the morning after they hooked up didn’t help the situation. But at least she was drunk enough to understand why he ran away.
