So let’s get to “Ice Station Impossible”, which totally does not star the Fantastic Four. We’ve got a special guest voice this week, plus this episode establishes Jonny Quest as part of Venture continuity.
“Give up, Mr. Bannon! It belongs to our master, Nat King Cobra.” – Snake Henchman
The episode opens with Race Bannon on a cargo plane, fighting a henchman in a snake-themed costume. He grabs a dangerous looking can of something, tosses a live grenade toward the pilot, and jumps out. He parachutes to safety, but after the grenade explodes and the plane goes into a dive, it circles around and the wing slams right into him. At the Venture Compound, the can lands directly on Hank’s head and the plane just misses them. It actually flies through the Venture Hangar before crashing, ejecting Race into a nearby neighborhood.
