Sally’s powers are based on the Invisible Woman, who is, of course, Mr. Fantastic’s wife. Only instead of becoming invisible, her skin just turns transparent, exposing all the muscles and organs. In fact, she sort of resembles the famous Anatomy class prop, the Visible Woman. We’ll see throughout this episode that the rest of the Impossible family have twisted versions of the FF’s powers, except for Richard, who has the real thing. Which just makes him look like more of a dick, frankly.
