Venture Brothers – The Diving Bell vs the Butter-Glider

–We learn here that 21 bought his own body armor, trading in Star Wars figures for it. Hee. No matter how tough he gets, he’s still 21, you know? He makes the point that Sgt. Hatred actually shoots at them with guns, which Brock Samson never did. (Not that Brock went easy on them – he just didn’t shoot them.) And the Monarch’s new Butter-Glider is patterned after the Green Goblin’s Goblin Glider. It actually looks quite a bit like the one from the first Spider-Man movie, only butterfly-themed. As it would be. We’re seeing discontent from within the ranks now – 21 openly questions why they don’t steal things and get some money. At this point, the Monarch’s villainy is fully focused on killing Dr. Venture, without anything beyond that. Everybody who plays along is just enabling his obsession.
