As they close, Star calls the delivery people. Lisa admits they ran out of time and didn’t make the firehouse delivery in time. She’s mad, but there’s really nobody for her to be mad at. Lisa, for her part, thinks Star shouldn’t have closed early, but that’s not the problem either. I think they should have held off on the deliveries a while longer and definitely not farted around with a $300 delivery, but it’s not like they knew there would be last-minute huge orders. Nobody’s really to blame for that. But the real question is, did the firemen still get their pizzas? I like to imagine they’re sitting around the table, wearing bibs emblazoned with pictures of pizza, just waiting and waiting. And then when this episode aired, somebody’s all like, “Well, I don’t think we’re getting our pizza.”
