Richard also calls him “delicate” and “sensitive”, and Ivanka calls him on it. What’s kind of fascinating is that the guy doing the emasculating is openly gay, and nobody comments on it. Either Trump doesn’t know, or he’s exercising restraint for the first time ever. Busey says he’d fire “Richard…. Hatch”. Everybody else kind of agrees, because their names haven’t come up yet and there’s no sense in ruffling any feathers. Richard picks David and Jose to come back to the Boardroom.
That’s interesting strategy. Usually, you don’t want to bring two people who will team up against you, but I think Richard knows he can argue rings around Jose, and David is too tiny to be heard clearly without special equipment. It’s a risk, though. In the lobby, Richard and Jose argue about whether Jose is dumb. I don’t like either of these guys, so I want to see them just tear into each other on a regular basis. (And if you don’t think that’s the sole reason the following transpires, you’ve clearly never watched this show.–Myndi)
