Mad Men Roundtable – “The Good News”

I want to see how Don feels about this, though.  Because he’s given somebody a glimpse of his life.  Again, he doesn’t socialize with his co-workers, and he just gave Lane the whirlwind tour.  Between Lane and Allison, he’s been dropping his guard a lot lately.  Will his future interactions with Lane be as awkward as all of his conversations with Allison?  And is this because he’s slipping up, or is Don desperately trying to form another human connection.  Anna is the only person he can definitely trust, and she’s dying – when she’s gone, there will be nobody left who knows Dick Whitman, and Don will have to decide whether or not Dick is going to survive.
