Dancing with the Stars – Season 11, Performance Week 3

Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas (20/30) – Their song is “Edelweiss” from The Sound of Music. Apparently Florence once performed Music in front of the real Maria Von Trapp, which is just crazy awesome when you think about it. They’ll be doing a Waltz, and it brings up memories of Florence’s late husband. Aww. She’s such a nice lady. She’s dressed like a Von Trapp, Corky has a medal pinned to his chest. It’s very slow and delicate, but, you know, it’s a 76-year-old woman waltzing to Edelweiss. There’s only so much you can do with the choreography. She actually does a really nice spin on one foot at the end. It’s really nice and sweet. Bruno thought it was good, but lacked continuous movement. Carrie Ann thought it was good, but on the simple side. She wants Florence to push her boundaries. Len calls it poignant and sweet, though her technique is non-existent. She gets applause from Sharon and Kelly Osbourne in the audience. She gets a respectable 20.
