Dancing with the Stars – Season 11, Performance Week 3

The Situation and Karina Smirnoff (20/30) – This guy could not be any dumber. Karina comes up with a story that involves a time machine. Oh, sweet. This show does not draw nearly enough inspiration from Futurama. We learn that Karina calls him “Sitch”. Or she could call him by his actual grown-up name, I guess. There is a time machine on the stage with two settings, “2010” and “3008”. When they emerge, they’re wearing crazy mesh and leather outfits that indicate that society of 3008 will have an economy that hinges on bondage-for-hire. There’s actually a surprising amount of improvement this week. He’s been hilariously bad for two weeks, and now he’s approaching average. Who knew that was going to happen? Carrie Ann likes his heel leads and musicality. Len appreciates that he’s trying but says he’s still really bad. Bruno talks crazy for a bit and then says it was weird but entertaining. Same way I would describe Bruno. They get a personal best of 20.
