BILL: You could do a whole Amazing Race casting with comic book heroes. Blue and Gold would be the funny guys. Steel and his daughter Natasha could be the parent/child partners, you could have various couples (Peter and MJ, Ollie and Dinah, Apollo and the Midnighter). However, as we’ve painfully learned from Marvel’s “Civil War” series: Reality TV and superheroes don’t mix.
DON: EJ and I have never met, nor spoken. We keep this diligent commitment to silence in the hopes we can get on the Amazing Race as “complete strangers” …don’t you think that would be hilarious? Can you talk to Amy? We tried to submit separate audition videos but were denied. Next, we’ll try and go to the in-person interviews with bags over our heads and our ears muffled, and Myndi will act as our handler so that we don’t ever meet until Phil says, “go!” Then, we plan to be stationed in old-timey beach changing tents, run out, meet each other, and get to know each other on the race? I mean, really …isn’t that awesome? Wouldn’t that make for great TV?
