BILL: (Really. You’ll regret it.)
MYNDI: It also turns out that, in addition to your day job, you’re the treasurer of Comicon. How did that come about? Are you pleased to see what that event has become in recent years, or do you miss what it was?
MARK: I’m VERY proud of what ComicCon has become! Our main mission is to advance the popular arts, and by bringing this diverse group of interests together, we get a lot of people to take a look at comics and other popular arts that haven’t. I think the people who ‘long for the old days’, are doing the industry a disservice, and don’t see that this dovetailing of movies, television, and online are breathing new life into the industry and keeping it alive and vibrant. ComicCon is an immense source of personal pride.
