SPHINX flies out to Spider-Skull Island. The Pirate Captain is in charge because Jonas Venture Jr. is up on his space station. They want to borrow the X-2, but JJ disassembled it to use the engine for his spacecraft. However, he does offer them the use of a boat. Meanwhile, Billy’s changing in a locker room. Monstroso strides in, wrapped in a towel. Billy admits that he’s been having fun with the indoor bumper calls and the mini golf, but Billy’s not ready to “become immortal”. Back at Spider-Skull Island, the Captain shows them a pirate ship that he refurbished from a theme park attraction.
