–I really like the bits with Brock and Shore Leave, talking about how cool their job is and how much they hate magic guys. I’m just now realizing that Shore Leave gives this show something it didn’t have before – an actual peer for Brock. These guys have done the same crazy stuff, and they can relate to one another that way. It really humanizes Brock.
“Hey. Is he well enough so I can kill him yet?” – Brock Samson
Brock finally finds Billy, who’s shocked to discover that he’s on a boat. Brock explains that White gave up the last of his money so they could track him down, but Billy is still put off – he says he’s going to be rich and famous now that he’s a doctor. Brock says Billy is going to have to live with the blood on his hands if he gives a killer like Monstroso a second chance. But Billy reminds him of the Hippocratic Oath, and even if he didn’t go to medical school, he’s still a doctor. Brock agrees that Billy should finish up. After the credits, Billy checks in with Monstroso, who’s still in a hospital bed. He’s getting his strength back, so Billy tells him to rest up. When he leaves the room, we see that it’s actually within SPHINX headquarters, and Brock and the others are just waiting for their chance to kill him.
